This procurement process represents the second major international equipment agreement between the Libyan contractor and professional drilling rig manufacturer ACR Drilling. Operations Manager Salahuddin Shneiba visited the manufacturing facility to personally oversee the quality control procedures and technical inspections of the newly manufactured water well drilling rig units prior to their international shipment.

Increased Capacity for Deep Water Well Drilling Projects

This fleet expansion follows the success of the first project completed two years ago, during which the Libyan contractor purchased four specialized drilling units:

• Two water well drilling rigs with an 800-meter drilling depth capacity
• Two water well drilling rigs with a 1,300-meter drilling depth capacity
• Four 800-meter drilling depth water well drilling rigs
• A total of 8 drilling rigs purchased from ACR Drilling

Following uninterrupted operations under North Africa's challenging field conditions, the company placed an additional order for four higher-capacity deep water well drilling rigs to meet the region's increasing project requirements.

"Today we are here to inspect our machines at the factory and ensure they are ready for shipment," Shneiba said during the factory inspection. He continued: "Our company previously purchased four drilling rigs from this manufacturer, including two 800-meter units and two 1,300-meter units. Thanks to their outstanding performance and technical reliability, we decided to work with them once again to procure four additional drilling units."

Technical Compliance and After-Sales Field Support

Factory acceptance inspections serve as a critical quality control stage in the procurement of heavy drilling machinery and equipment, ensuring hydraulic stability, mast lifting systems, and structural integrity are verified before international transportation.

Following the completion of the final administrative and technical approvals at the production facility, the four newly inspected drilling rigs are scheduled for international shipment to Libya.
